Messengers 2: The Scarecrow

There are many financial difficulties for John Rollins: his corn crop has been destroyed by crows; the bank is close to foreclosure on his mortgage; he has no credit to fix his water pump or buy seeds; and his marriage is in crisis because Mary is spending too much time with Tommy, a friend of his wife Mary's. When John discovers a hidden compartment in the barn, he discovers a terrifying scarecrow, but his son Michael makes him pledge to remove it. After Jude Weatherby, his neighbor, visits him and hands over a six-pack of beer, John decides to put the scarecrow in the cornfield. When John's crows die, the water pump works again, and the banker who was responsible for the closure has an accident and dies, his life suddenly shifts in unexpected directions. However, he believes that his property is occupied by an evil force that is threatening him and his family.
