While Camp Patton's owner Hershey wants to expand Camp Patton by purchasing the entire lake region, Camp Sasquash owner Giddy strives to keep his camp operating after it is threatened with foreclosure. With the usual end-of-summer boxing bout over lake rights, Giddy proposes resolving the issue In the meantime, an inner-city punk named Flash is doing community service at Camp Sasquash as a counselor-in-training and has his sights set on the innocent and bright Cheryl, while Flash's young charges make friends with an alien they call Meathead who is also spending the summer at the camp.
