Quinton McHale, a retired lieutenant commander, spends his days selling homemade brew, ice cream, and bikini calendars around the Caribbean in his vintage PT-73. A nuclear launch silo on the island of San Moreno, seized by his old enemy Major Vladikov, the world's second-best terrorist, forces him to come out of retirement. His old crew and Captain Wallace B. Binghampton, who was responsible for sinking an ocean ship some time ago, join McHale in his attempt to put Vladikov out business.
