Marriage Italian Style

Domenico Soriano encounters Filumena Marturano in a brothel during an allied bombing in Naples during WWII. They meet by coincidence two years later, after the war, and begin a lengthy relationship. Filumena has been his mistress for twenty-two years and runs his shops in Naples while Domenico is away. To entice Domenico to marry his bakery's young cashier, Filumena poses as a victim. They divorce later, and she tells him she has three hidden boys, one of them is his legal son. He uses all kinds of ruses to find his son.
