In order to get to Paris, two friends, one of whom is a musician and the other who is constantly melancholy, travel around Greece and France until they run out of money. They spend their nights in the subterranean and dwell in houses with the African immigrants who share their neighborhood with them. After falling in love with Mathilde, a blond dancer, they decide to follow her to New York.
