Maixabel
Juan Maria Jauregi, the spouse of Maixabel Lasa, was slain by ETA in 2000. Eleven years later, she receives an unbelievable request: one of the men who murdered Juan wants to meet with her at the Nanclares de la Oca jail in Araba, Spain, where he is serving his sentence for abandoning the terrorist organization. Maixabel Lasa accepts to meet face-to-face with people who took the life of the person who had been her companion since she was 16 years old, despite her concerns and enormous anguish. She responded, "Everyone deserves a second opportunity," when asked why she was willing to confront the man who murdered her husband.
