Madame
Anne and Bob, an affluent and well-connected American couple, relocate to a manor house in the heart of romantic Paris in order to inject some life into their deteriorating relationship. While preparing a very opulent supper for sophisticated foreign guests, our hostess realizes that there are actually 13 people in attendance. Because she is panicking, Anne orders her devoted maid Maria to disguise herself as a mysterious Spanish noblewoman in order to equalize the odds. Nevertheless, after a few glasses of wine and some lighthearted banter, Maria manages to win the affections of a dapper British art broker by accident. Their growing infatuation would have Anne chasing after her maid all over Paris and eventually hatching a plan to put an end to this most unexpected and joyful of all love affairs..
