Love in the Afternoon

The sixth and final of Rohmer's Six Moral Tales. Frederic lives a bourgeois existence; he is a partner in a small Paris office and is happily married to Helene, a teacher who is expecting their second child. Frederic daydreams about other women in the afternoons but has no plans to act on them. Chloe, an old friend's mistress, starts dropping by his office one day. They meet as friends on an irregular basis in the afternoons until Chloe decides to seduce Frederic, putting him in a moral quandary.
