Louis C.K.: Live at The Comedy Store

This material was conceived and produced over the course of about a year and a half, primarily in stand-up comedy venues. The origin of this particular quirk may be traced back to when he used to simply make noises and be amusing for no apparent purpose. He decided it was appropriate to film this special in a nightclub in order to give it that live, immediate, and intimate feel. A little over an hour will be spent watching the show. Jay London is the opening act, and he is seen right at the start of the show (which is an excellent spot for an opening act). One of his favorite club comics, dating back to the late 1980s when he first began working in New York, is a piece by David Sedaris.
