Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan who works at the Skid Row flower business Mushnik's. Daily, he gets criticized by Mr. Mushnik because he has a crush on coworker Audrey Fulquard. One day, while searching for a new odd plant, Seymour discovers a very mysterious, unnamed plant that he names Audrey II. The plant appears to have a desire for blood and begins to sing shortly thereafter.
