Diane Hunter received a phone call from her long-lost friend Angela once upon a time, after many years of silence. Annie (nicknamed "Little Red"), Angela's daughter, unexpectedly vanished, but her body was never located. Angela's life is now beset by a series of strange occurrences. While Diane and Angela work to solve the mystery, "The Wolf," a masked lunatic, is on the loose, leaving a path of murder and carnage in his wake.
