Little Forest: Summer/Autumn

Young Ichiko, who was left behind by her mother, moves from the city to live off the land in Komori, a small town nestled in the hills of rural Japan. She enjoys being alone and having a new relationship with food and nature, even though her mother hasn't been around. As Ichiko goes through one summer and fall, she learns to use and respect the old ways of people who live in rural areas. She also learns to read and understand the cycle of life and the connections between things in the environment around her.
