Michael Chapman was once a child television personality. When he reaches adulthood, he finds it difficult to find work, so he and his brother decide to open their own talent agency that specializes in child acts. He and his team are unable to locate the next great thing, and they must contend with the efforts of another agency, which is not above bribing the kids into signing with them. Then one day Michael comes across a young girl who is a total spitfire, and he believes she might be the person they are seeking for.
