Chief B (Danny Lee) is an outspoken member of the CID who prefers to resolve situations by gut rather than following the rules of the department. He's a down-to-earth person who is a mamma's boy, who isn't overly educated, and who is an amazing member of the Criminal Investigation Division. Officer Kit (Eddie Chan) has just been promoted from the ranks to the CID and is studying for the test to become an Inspector. When he joins Chief B's team, he is given the opportunity to investigate various gang-related cases. Kit, who had previously been a rule-following police officer, gains a great deal from Chief B.
