Lauda: The Untold Story

In 1976, Niki Lauda was in one of the most famous Formula One crashes. She was able to get out of the car. LAUDA: THE UNTOLD STORY uses previously unseen footage to show what happened on that fateful, and almost fatal, day at the Nurburgring. It then shows Lauda's brave journey to recovery, culminating in a miraculous comeback in Monza just weeks later. Documentary: It also looks at how the crash had an effect on the sport as a whole. It looks at safety changes from the 1900s to now to see how they've changed. It gives Lauda's family and some of the most famous motorsports people of all time, like Sir Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard and Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg and Hans-Joachim Stuck and Jochen Mass, exclusive access to Mercedes HQ.
