Kick the Moon

A short film about two high school students from a small-city high school, Kick the Moon is set in the present. One is a fighter who is involved in a renowned street brawl with a rival school, while the other is a nerdy wimp who loves to study and is one of the only students who does not take part in the fight with the rival school. Years later, the punk has progressed to the position of teacher at the high school where he formerly taught, and the nerd has risen to the position of mafia underboss and has returned to his hometown to establish operations. The plot of the film centres around the two men's battle for the affections of a local lady restaurant owner, as well as the violence between opposing gang factions in the small town in which they live.
