The youthful shepherd Jacob (Matthew Modine) falls in love with Rachel (Lara Flynn Boyle), the daughter of his uncle Laban, in this heartwarming story from Genesis (Giancarlo Giannini). Jacob works as an indentured servant for his uncle for seven years before he may ask Rachel to marry him. After seven years of hard work, Laban conned him again.
