One crimson dawn, a cold, wet wind blows as a lone guy wanders through the darkness. Deputy Police Superintendent Francesco Prencipe is on his way to meet his best buddy, Judge Giovanni Mastropaolo, whom he hasn't seen in almost two years. The men exchange few words during their two-hour travel. Later that morning, the body of the Judge is discovered with a single gunshot wound to the head. Francesco was the last person to see him alive, and his fingerprints were the only ones found in the residence. However, is he a murderer?
