It is 2020. Environmental scientist Professor Thom Archer's findings show that Halo, the energy corporation drilling on the Greenland Glacier, is responsible for its melting. Archer's concerns are disregarded, so he travels to the Arctic in search of irrefutable proof. Upon landing, he sees that humanity is immediately threatened and runs home to protect his family. The glacier falls, with catastrophic results. Surprising weather patterns arise and precipitously lower global temperatures.
