To get a pardon so he can marry his girlfriend, Bob Ford kills his best friend, Jesse James. Ford soon finds that he is mocked and derided by everyone in the town. Colorado is where he goes to try his hand at prospecting in the hope that Cynthy and he will get married. This is what he does.
