Hud
Hud Bannon is a cold-blooded young guy who tarnishes everything and everyone he comes into contact with. Hud is the personification of the detached adolescent who is only interested in having a good time and is unconcerned about the repercussions. Homer, Hud's stern and ethical father, is at odds with his callous son Hud. Lon, Hud's nephew, admires his uncle's dishonest ways, but he quickly grows tired of Hud's reckless amorality. Hud is a winner in the world of givers and takers. He's a thief, but "I always feel the law was designed to be read in a lenient approach," he explains.
