As much as she loves Christmas, Christine (Summer Glau), an elf at the North Pole, wonders if there is more to life than making gifts. Christine is sent to Los Angeles by Santa when he gets a last-minute request from a little boy in Los Angeles. Christine will give the VanCamp family, which includes mom Sara, dad Scott, and their two kids Ally and Will, a holiday wake-up call. This is a special assignment for Christine, so don't be surprised if you see her in the movie. For all we know, the VanCamps may come to realize that the true meaning of Christmas isn't what they thought it was.
