Heidi
Heidi is left behind when her mother dies. Her aunt, Dete, isn't very caring, so she takes her to live with her reclusive, grumpy grandfather, Adolph Kramer, in the mountains. The way Heidi treats her grandfather and the love that she has for him bring him back into the mountain community where he used to live. He is heartbroken when he finds out that his granddaughter, Heidi, has been taken away by Dete and taken to be a companion for a rich man's wheelchair-bound daughter. The grandfather sets out to get her back right away.
