When Ellie's novelty-salesman father, Harry, is slain while in possession of a Halloween mask created by the Silver Shamrock mask firm, Dr. Daniel Challis and Ellie Grimbridge stumble onto a macabre murder plot. Conal Cochran, the company's owner, intends to use his masks to return Halloween to its darker beginnings, and his horrible plan would cause death and ruin across the country.
