When a winter storm shuts down flights in Cleveland, adjacent hotels soon fill up with stranded travelers. Nina, a pilot, reluctantly agrees to allow Brady, an egotistical yet endearing fellow pilot, remain with her parents. However, when they learn that her family is holding a tree trimming party that night and that her ex will be in attendance, Brady pretends to be her boyfriend in order to assist her.
