Someone or something horrible has made its way to the shores of Erin Island, unbeknownst to the quaint inhabitants of this tranquil fishing community located somewhere off the coast of Ireland. First, a group of fisherman goes lost in the water. On top of that, there has been a spate of whale carcasses that have appeared on the shoreline. Immediately after the killings begin, it is up to two mismatched police officers, one of whom is an irresponsible drunkard and his new partner, a by-the-book woman from the mainland, to protect his townspeople from the huge, blood-sucking, tentacled aliens that prey on them. As it turns out, the only thing they have is alcohol. Everyone will have to get extremely, extremely intoxicated if they wish to withstand the attack of the beasts!
