Maindrian Pace and his squad double as unstoppable auto thieves while working as insurance investigators. Pace is hired by a South American drug lord to steal 48 cars, all except one of which is a 1973 Ford Mustang. Pace is unaware that his boss has tipped off the cops after a business conflict as he prepares to rip-off the fastback, dubbed "Eleanor," in Long Beach.
