This is how you know that Solange is depressed: She doesn't smile anymore; she eats very little, and she says less. She faints a lot. He wants to save her by having Stephane, a stranger, be her lover. Her husband Raoul wants to do this. They all agree that she should have a child, but she can't get pregnant with either of her lovers. Christians, the 13-year-old son of the manager of the local factory where they work, is the first person they meet. They take a job running a summer camp for kids.
