Gauche the Cellist
Gauche is a dedicated but mediocre cellist in the early twentieth century who performs for a tiny town symphony and the local cinema. He suffers during practice and is frequently chastised by his director as the orchestra prepares to perform Beethoven's Sixth Symphony (the Pastoral Symphony). Gauche is visited at his mill house home four nights in a row by talking animals while he is training.
