Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus

In 1958, Diane Arbus is a housewife and mother living in New York City. She helps support her family by working as an assistant to her photographer husband, who is employed by her affluent parents. Despite the fact that her life is honorable, she is unable to shake the feeling that she is an outsider in her own affluent environment. Diane's attention is drawn to a mysterious new neighbor one evening, and the following day, he provides the impetus for her to go on the journey that would lead her to the discovery of her own artistic talent.
