Five Graves to Cairo

As the British Army retreats ahead of the victorious Rommel, a lone survivor is left on the Egyptian border, where he seeks safety in a desolate desert motel. He is assisted by the hotel's proprietor over the protests of the French chambermaid, who dreads Rommel and the Germans' coming arrival. In order to survive, John adopts the identity of the recently deceased waiter.
