Faithless
This intensely personal picture was written by Ingmar Bergman and tells the story of an affair that ends up destroying the relationship between an actress (Marianne) and a musician (Markus). In an effort to maintain the relationship she has been having with her lover, Marianne moves in with him. However, she is going through a lot of emotional turmoil because Markus made the decision to deny her custody of their daughter. Finally, Markus breaks the impasse by announcing that he may have a way out of the impasse, but this leads to deception, falsehoods, and ultimately catastrophe.
