Eyewitness
New York City janitor Daryll Deever is an avid follower of TV news reporter Tony Sokolow, who works in an office building nearby. The murder of a wealthy businessman takes place in Daryll's building, and Tony arrives to cover the incident, at which point Daryll introduces himself to her. Tony pursues him, believing he may be connected to the crime, and, in order to maintain his relationship with her, he claims that he is involved. The killers are keeping an eye on them as they engage in this game, figuring that Daryll and Tony are both more knowledgeable about the crime than they are.
