Eight Men Out
Sox of 1919 is the saddest squad to win a pennant. Both their owner, Charles Comiskey, and their own teammates irritate them. Most of the players didn't get what they were promised. But Buck Weaver and Shoeless Joe Jackson return to try their best. From a 3-1 deficit, the Sox almost fought back. After 2 years, the truth comes out and the Sox are sued. The jury finds them innocent, but Landis has other ideas. To this day, Buck Weaver fights to clear his name.
