Taylor Reynolds was an average suburban mother who made some poor life choices and was sentenced to three years in prison for a DUI and drug possession. Following her release, Taylor battles the stigma associated with her past transgressions, struggles to reclaim the support of her daughter Bianca and husband Jeff, and attempts to reintegrate into society. However, just as Taylor's life begins to improve, her former cellmate and career criminal, Meghan Flanagan, returns unexpectedly and infiltrates her world. Meghan has devised a cunning plan. Taylor is being pressed to come clean and disclose the truth about her early release. Taylor will stop at nothing to protect her family from Meghan, even if it means returning to the world from which she eventually left.
