Samantha's world is flipped upside down when her 10-year-old daughter Cassie is seriously injured in a terrible vehicle accident. Samantha employs a live-in nurse Margaret to help Cassie heal, as she already struggles to manage her demanding job life with her worsening marriage to Cassie's father, Tom.
