Doctor Sleep
Dan Torrance, a wounded alcoholic, encounters Abra, a little girl who also has the capacity to "shine." He tries to keep her safe from the True Knot, a sect whose objective is to feed on people like them in order to live forever. Stephen King's 1977 novel "The Shining" inspired Doctor Sleep. Doctor Sleep takes place several decades after the events of "The Shining."
