Death Note Relight 1: Visions of a God

In school, Yagami Light is an excellent student who has a lot of potential. He's bored out of his mind, though. "Death Note" is a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods that gives him power to kill people in any way he wants. One day, he finds the "Death Note." Light has the Death Note, so he decides to make his ideal world, one where there is no crime or criminals. But when a lot of criminals start to die one by one, authorities send the legendary detective L to find the killer. This special was aired on Japanese TV soon after the death note anime finished, and it cuts the first 26 episodes into a two-hour movie with new scenes and dialogue added. The story is told from Ryuk's point of view.
