Death in the Garden

An outlaw adventurer, a local hooker, a priest, an elderly diamond miner, and his deaf-mute daughter all find themselves on the run in the South American jungle as a revolution sweeps through the mining town where they are staying. They are famished, worn out, and have been stripped of their former identities; nevertheless, they continue to roam aimlessly, hopelessly being enticed by one false promise of salvation after another.
