Humans were converted into violent zombies by a mystery virus in2021, five years after it was first discovered. Contagion Special Unit (CSU) was developed to combat sick soldiers after governments failed to contain the outbreak. In response to a rapidly dwindling number of soldiers, the popular online video game Dead Trigger was born. Players' greatest efforts are closely scrutinized by CSU agents, who recruit only the most skilled zombie killers to join their ranks. Their nickname is "Dead Triggers". The movie follows a group of young recruits who must travel to the genesis of the outbreak to find a lost team of scientists who were hunting for a cure.
