Over a year has passed since the pandemic first became public knowledge. Our society has come to a grinding halt, and the entire planet has been thrown into disarray.. Elvis and Tweeter are two of the last people on the planet, and they band together to evacuate the United States for a distant island in the Caribbean, where they will be safe. Once on the island, they come with a new society that is battling to survive in the face of an army of corpses. They are welcome to join this band of survivors— but only if they are capable of doing what is necessary for the group's survival.
