Dead End

"Baby Face" mobster Martin returns home to visit the New York neighborhood where he grew up, calling on his mother, who rejects him due to his gangster lifestyle, and his old girlfriend, Francey, who is now a syphilitic prostitute. Martin also meets Dave, a childhood friend attempting to make it as an architect, and the Dead End Kids, a group of young boys roaming the East Side slums.
