Dark Blue World

Lt. Franta Slama, a renowned Czech pilot, is sent to train a bright young pilot, Karel Vojtisek. When Nazi Germany invaded Czechoslovakia in 1939, they both fled to England and joined fellow Czech exiles in the RAF. Karel crashes lands over England and finds Susan's farmhouse, a young woman whose husband is in the Navy. Even though Karel is smitten with Susan, she prefers the company of the wiser and more worldly Franta. Franta and Karel fight to be friends amid their amorous competition.
