Daivathin Swantham One of the main characters in Cletus is the infamous long-haired rogue, Cleety (Mammooty). Astonishingly, he reminds the parish priest (Siddique) of Jesus Christ in both appearance and demeanor. His participation as Jesus Christ in a light and sound performance for their forthcoming festival is a persuasion from their priest During rehearsals, he reveals his true nature. Though his true nature is revealed, the priest decides to stick with him because he believes that the act of portraying such a wonderful character will help him grow. Cleetus's life undergoes a dramatic shift following it. After a few days, Cleetus' life begins to mirror that of Jesus Christ's. How Cleetus and those around him fare is what drives the narrative forward.
