Corridors of Blood

During the 1840s, a British surgeon experimented with anesthetic gases in an attempt to make surgery more painless. While doing so, his demonstration in front of a panel of his colleagues ends in a horrible accident, with his patient waking up after being put under the knife; as a result, he is compelled to resign from his position. Additionally, he becomes addicted to the gases and becomes associated with an organized crime syndicate run by Black Ben and his henchman Resurrection Joe, which further complicates his predicament.
