Cool Kids Don't Cry

An adaptation of one of the most well-known children's books to come out of the Benelux countries. Akkie is a tough primary school girl who is a huge soccer fan and can be a great bully. The only thing that makes her nervous is the possibility of falling in love. When Akkie is given a diagnosis of leukemia, she is forced to wage a battle for her life. When Akkie is on the edge of starting high school, she needs to let love into her life in order to build up the courage to accept what is going to happen.
