Jack Moniker, a Chicago firefighter who has retired and relocated to a small Caribbean island, becomes friends with the owner of a run-down resort, who becomes his mentor. They work together to rebuild the resort and attract guests to Club Paradise in an effort to fend off crooked politicians and businessmen who want to take over the resort and turn it into their own personal playground.
