Faith's world turns upside down when she learns that her father is dying. When Sissy Young becomes her field hockey coach, Faith finds a caring person and a mother figure she didn't have before. Sissy is the head of a witches' coven that has been around for hundreds of years. They use the fruit of an old cherry tree in a secret ritual that gives life to the dead and dying. Offer to cure her father in exchange for having a child. Sissy makes a deal with Faith, who gets pregnant and has a baby that's growing at an alarming rate. The clock is running down to the birth of the child, and the true purpose of Sisy's plan to help humanity is becoming more clear. Faith and her father must work together to save both of their lives.
