Cast a Giant Shadow

To aid in the establishment of the future Israeli military, a former officer in the United States Army is recruited. This unexpected emphasis on his Jewish identity has unnerved him. The Arab countries bordering Israel have all threatened to invade the unprepared state as soon as division is agreed upon. Right before the start of the conflict, he is named commander of the Israeli forces.
