Casshern
The 50 years of war between the Great Eastern Federation and Europa, which are now one country called Eurasia, have been hard on Earth. Because of the use of biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons, much of the Earth is now uninhabitable, and new diseases are spreading. Professor Azuma's "neo-cell" project, which was meant to solve all of humanity's problems, turns into a nightmare when mutants created by the experiment get away and go to war with humans. Tetsuya, Azuma's son, was killed in the last war, but he comes back as the cyborg Casshern, humanity's last chance against the new mutant threat. This live-action science fiction film is based on a Japanese cartoon with the same name from 1973.
